Since taking over Mercyheart Monastery, Huiyao has allied with all manner of outlaws. These people joined the monastery under the guise of monks, but in reality, they lived as bandits and called themselves "ascetic monks." Huiguang stood out among them for his particular taste for the good life and even gave himself the nickname "the Meat-and-Wine Buddha." As the third-in-command, he guards the Gourmand's Grove, constantly on the hunt for fine food and drink, and he often harasses innocent monks seeking alms around Halo Peak...
