Located southwest of the city, this site draws water from the ancient Grand Canal. Upstream, a narrow waterfall cascades down the cliff, its base feeding a small, deep pool. Following the watercourse through a winding valley, one suddenly emerges into a clearing where a jade-green abyss shimmers. The waterfall, hanging like a silver satin ribbon against the cliff, creates a mist that shrouds the still valley. By the lakeside, a viewing pavilion offers vistas of the waterfall.
