Today I happened upon a group holding a literary gathering in a pavilion. Any time there's a literary gathering, you can be sure they forgot to invite me, so of course I cheerfully went right in.
They were taking turns composing verse, and literary inspiration was pouring out of me. I answered each line on the spot. One fellow recited, "Willows green and blossoms red stir the sorrows of spring," and I immediately replied, "Flies buzz and grass goes long, stew the meat and bring it on!"
After a few rounds, the whole table sat there in stunned silence. It seems my reputation as a once-in-a-generation literary giant can no longer be hidden. Ahem. If any invitations to literary gatherings arrive at your place, do not decline them for me. I will certainly attend.
