Pengzu, Also known as E Keng, is an immortal revered for his longevity in Chinese mythology. Said to be the great-grandson of Emperor Zhuanxu, he was granted a fief in Peng city during Emperor Yao's reign, founding the state of Great Peng. Legend says that Pengzu lived through the reigns of Yao, Shun, Xia, and Shang, reaching an age of over 800 years. He is honored as one of the earliest masters of health cultivation.
