The Gold Leaf Case, Chapter III
Three Khitans were found dead on their beds in an inn at Sangma, each with a gold leaf next to them.
Several small red punctures, possibly caused by being stabbed with a hairpin, were found between the end of their eyebrows and their ears (but the holes indicated that the strength of each stab was different, almost as if an amateur was looking for a pressure point). Poison was found in the punctures, and it was discovered that the victims were drugged and fell unconscious before their deaths. Qi, the innkeeper, claimed that he was resting due to a cold and did not notice anything out of the ordinary. A gold leaf was found in his home, but it was not woven in the same way as the evidence found at the scene.
(Note: After inspection, it was discovered that these leaves were not all woven by the same person. How should I go on? Maybe I will quit...)
