The Buddha spoke of the Eight Sufferings of life: birth, aging, sickness, death, parting from loved ones, hatred with enemies, unfulfilled desire, and the burning of the Five Skandhas Ablaze. The final suffering arises from the convergence of the preceding seven, their intertwining giving rise to this ultimate torment. In Midnight Blades, Sufferers are those who bear the greatest share of Karmic guilt. If defeated in the Midnight Judgment, they will lose their identities and decrees
