Furthermore, good men, the eight forms of suffering are: the suffering of birth, aging, sickness, death, parting from loved ones, hatred with enemies, unfulfilled desire, and the burning of the Five Skandhas. That which gives rise to these eight sufferings is known as Samudaya. Where none of these arise, that is called Nirodha. The Ten Powers, Four Fearlessnesses, Three Mindfulnesses, and Great Compassion. These are called the Marga.
