Produced in Xuancheng, the Xuan Brush is one of the "Four Famous Brushes." Its making has a long history, originating in the Qin Dynasty and flourishing in the Tang and Song. It revived during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and is part of the second batch of China's National-Level Intangible Cultural Heritage.
