Zhuan Fei was originally a daughter of a scholar-official family. Separated from her family during the war, she was sent to the Cao household as a maid. Frequent internal conflicts arose in the mansion, to protect herself, she pretended to be slow-witted and eventually gained trust and freedom of movement. Yet, bored all day, she finds joy only in counting bricks. Only gossip and rumors bring some fluctuation to her dull life.
