Severed Hope is hard to suppress. Within 180 seconds, focus your spirit and calm your mind, face the trial, and reduce the Sentinel Howlion's HP to within the indicator bar.
If the trial succeeds, the Heavenfire Moonfall manifested by the Severed Hope can be resolved using Perception skills.
If the trial fails, you cannot suppress the Severed Hope and will be unable to withstand the damage from Heavenfire Moonfall.
In Story and Recommended difficulty, hold on for 180 seconds to complete the trial.
