Namo Amitabha.
To Fellow Disciples:
Our Sect Master, in recent meditation, spoke thus: "Our order bears the karma of slaughter to ascent sentient beings to the Pure Land; this itself is suffering. Yet those who willingly board this Vessel of Mercy to intercede and shoulder their Karma possess the firmest resolve and the bravest hearts."
To honor such resolve, the Sect Master decrees a change to our rules, effective immediately:
All Midnight Blades ascetics who triumph over the "Sufferer" shall not only take their place and inherit their karmic burden, but also receive a "Seven Sorrows Token," exchangeable for Jianghu reputation, a mark of their great courage in sharing the weight of sin.
This applies even among the Sufferers themselves. The strong grow stronger; the capable do more. So they may bear more sin for all sentient beings.
Upon the Path of Carnage, there is no fellowship among disciples. But there is a shared will to endure hellfire and cross the bitter sea of life and death together.
