Learn these techniques, and you'll have money coming to you!
Technique One: Face Reading
In the jianghu, when it comes to disguises, the Nine Mortal Ways leads the way, with Mohist Hill coming second.
That said, the disguises from Mohist Hill aren't very convincing. With a bit of face-reading skill, you can easily spot several Mohist Hill disciples. Once identified, you can get them to do simple tasks like diverting water for villagers or fixing wells in neighborhoods, charging a modest fee for their work. With very little effort, this can earn you around 300 wen a month.
No need to worry—they'll get more motivated the more they work, especially if you encourage them with praise like "great skills" or "sharp minds"!
Technique Two: Brewing Technique
A Mohist Hill disciple once confirmed that adding the right amount of water to wine can actually improve its taste. That means for every ten jars of wine, you effectively get an extra jar. Scale that up to a hundred or a thousand jars, and that's a lot of extra wine—and profit.
There's a risk, though: this method might attract attention from the Raging Tides, who don't take kindly to such tricks.
Technique Three: Partnership Strategy
Everyone knows Well of Heaven is famous for robbing the rich to help the poor. Begging along their road has become a steady source of income for us, but that's only a little money. To make serious cash, here's the trick:
During festivals, markets and shops get overcrowded, and the authorities are stretched thin. That's when you team up with Well of Heaven, using the promise of a peaceful outing to lure wealthy merchants into secluded alleys. When the Well of Heaven disciples strike, the merchants lose their purses—and we take a nice cut of the haul. Even small shares add up to big earnings!
In short, there are many ways to make money, but this is all I'll cover for now.
I hope the next generation will take these lessons further and go even deeper on the path to wealth.

Looking back at the earlier notes, I realized there was a gap—mathematics.
Counting small amounts like one or two wen is easy, but adding up thousands gets tricky.
To fix that, I invited a disciple from Lone Cloud to teach me some arithmetic skills. Now I'm no longer afraid of handling big sums.
