Dear $N, I've got great news: no school tomorrow! The teacher says it's called "Respite," ordered by the Government. I must have been studying so hard lately that even the Government thinks I deserve a break! Tomorrow, I'm going to sleep until the sun is up high, then fly kites outside the city all day long! Time for those storybooks and puppetry plays. Last, I will buy new Clay Dolls and gifts for Mom, Dad, and you at South Gate Avenue… By the way, Master, what are you doing right now? Do you still practice during the respite? If so, I can't fall behind. Four days of respite are nowhere near enough. If only the Government gave fourteen – no, forty days off!
