"I'm here. I'm here with you."
Guli Moli is a little gray cat with a name born of two cultures. Its first owner named it "Guli," but the Han settlers who arrived later misheard it as "Moli." Over time, the two names merged into one.
When the desert folk feel troubled, they hold it close and call softly, "Guli, Guli..." When the easterners grow homesick, they cradle it in their arms and whisper, "Moli, Moli..."
And to every call, it responds with a soft, delicate meow, nudging its head into your palm as if to say:
"I'm here. I'm here with you. Your Guli. Your Moli. The most beautiful thing your heart longs for."
