To prevent fatal falls, Hu Li journeyed through the ranges for three months, enduring wind and frost, until he mastered eighteen climbing techniques from mountain dwellers.
He then fused these skills with Mohist mechanisms into a rope art he named "Skygrasp," symbolizing the ambition to not only grasp the mountain heights of Taihang, but to seize Heaven's very mandate on behalf of the people.
