A strange tale circulated among the Qiongqi Artificers of Brighthale Cliff about a little dog that was nowhere to be seen during the day but became lively and vigorous at night.
The mountain folk also wondered why the dog only ate one meal during the day yet grew sturdier by the day.
Surely, this was no ordinary dog.
One evening, two groups, one early, one late, walked up with food bowls at the same time. While they stared at each other in surprise, the dog first ran to the Qiongqi Artificer and wagged its tail, then ran back to the mountain folk and rolled over. It took a bite from the left bowl and a lick from the right.
Neither came in vain; the dog loved everything they brought.
Since then, the "Ghost Dog" became "Bowlly."
