A century ago, this was the river valley downstream of the Hutuo River, often ravaged by floods. Thankfully, generations of grandmasters worked here to develop farming and irrigation, shaping the beautiful stretch of peaks and waters.
During Zhou Xiande's reign, Grandmaster Raven farmed this land and mentored countless students. Among them were three standout disciples, Swallow, Heron, and Falcon, who became known as the "Three Paragons." But like ever-changing clouds, times didn't stay steady for long. After a sudden upheaval in the city, Swallow shouldered the mantle of Grandmaster, Heron was bound to peaks and rivers, and Falcon fell deep into the underworld. Each took a different path.
Now, only the clear waters remain; the faces of those old friends are gone. Such is the passing of time.
