Radiant gold and azure interplay, forming their own delightful aesthetic. During the Zhenguan era of the Tang Dynasty, a painter chanced upon a marvelous stone, dazzling with interwoven gold and blue. Grinding it into powder yielded two pure, lightweight pigments: mineral blue and mud gold. Using these materials, applying colors in layers, the painter initiated the Gold-and-Blue Landscape school.
