A Mahayana Buddhist sutra, in which Shakyamuni Buddha praises and extols the Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha's great vow, "Not until the hells are emptied will I become a Buddha, only when all beings are saved will I attain Bodhi." The currently circulated edition is attributed to the Tang translator Shikshananda, but the actual translator and translation date are uncertain.
