Doudou is the most diligent kitten in the palace. Every day, it grooms its fur until not a speck of dust remains.
The palace is huge, and picking a territory to call its own is no easy task. Doudou wandered round and round before settling on a spot. The people here are just as hardworking as it is, rushing about from dawn to night with hardly a moment's rest.
But the place is so big that there are always dirty corners. Right under Doudou's paws, for instance, buckets are piled up in the corner, and the stink makes it scrunch up its nose.
Ever since deciding to live here, Doudou has stood by the doorway every morning, scratching at the soil, determined to bury anything foul underground. Now and then, someone from the Wude guard unit passes by, sees it hard at work, and stops to help clean up.
After all, if you cannot keep one room in order, how can you keep the world in order?
