The Gold Leaf Case, Chapter I
A gold leaf woven with grass hung from a tree in the west, prompting the rumor that the Gold Leaf Warrior has returned. The body that was also hanging from the tree was identified as Wu, a refugee from the area, with a speculated time of death between eleven and one at night.
Standing just a little over six feet tall, Wu was short-tempered and violent. It is said that he worked with the Khitan for money, and had a lot of enemies. The victim had several bruises on his body, possibly indicating that he had been in a physical fight with someone before his death.
(Note: The suspect would have to be someone tall and strong, which were not features of the Gold Leaf Warrior based on past cases. How strange!)
