The soldiers at the Toilgrain Barn rescued two cats and two dogs. Ever since they gathered, they've been arguing incessantly, each believing they've done the most for the camp.
Fussy thinks that while the Toilgrain Barn could do without any other cat or dog, it absolutely cannot do without her.
The reason is simple: Fussy is a kitten who keeps time.
Keeping time means keeping mealtime. Lately, the soldiers in the Toilgrain Barn have been getting busier by the day, and when people are busy, they tend to forget to eat.
Fussy thinks this won't do; in this great world, eating is the most important thing.
So, at every mealtime, Fussy becomes the strictest supervisor in the Toilgrain Barn. If she finds someone too busy to eat, she follows behind them, tugs at their pant legs, and licks her own lips.
Human, if I catch you forgetting to eat again, I'm going to make a scene!
