In Watcher's eyes, many people are big fools.
Watcher had lived by the bridge for a very long time and seen many people in a hurry. But lately, she noticed that everyone passing by carried weapons, which was terrifying, and many were covered in blood, barely able to walk straight.
Watcher didn't know what was happening until one day, she saw a man plant a white flag on the bridge and wave at those approaching, telling them to go back and not pass through.
Watcher understood then. If a fierce-looking villain passed by, she would hide obediently in the grass so they wouldn't find her.
But Watcher didn't understand that why so many people did see the white flag and hear the warning, yet still refuse to turn back, charging forward instead? She remembered the faces of those who went ahead; hardly any of them ever returned.
Watcher didn't understand: why don't these people understand the logic that even a cat knows?
