It is said that Shakyamuni Buddha was originally the crown prince of King Shuddhodana of Kapilavastu in ancient India. However, after witnessing the suffering of sentient beings, he abandoned his royal status and entered the snowy mountains to practice asceticism. He sat in meditation, contemplating, not avoiding wind or rain, persevering for six years. His body became extremely emaciated, with bones and sinews exposed, yet he finally attained enlightenment amidst suffering, fully comprehending and becoming a Buddha.
