Sevensan was once saved by a child. Since then, he adored humans. He loved playing with kids—chasing, tumbling, squealing. Those were the happiest days. He wanted to play with them for the rest of his life. But slowly, the children stopped coming. Puzzled, Sevensan searched for them. He found them buried in books, or working beside their parents. No more giggles, no more games. When he tried to play with them again, they all refused him. Too much studying, too much work. He didn't understand— How could studying and working be more fun than playing? If they were happy, why didn't they laugh? They were still kids, so why weren't they playing anymore? He longed to return to old times, when their smiles were so pure.
