I am a humble man, but even I understand this: a soldier does not retreat, and not a single inch of earth should be surrendered. As a child, I was once given a simple bowl of rice by my villagers. For that kindness alone, I owe this land my life. If we shrink back now, one day the enemy's iron hooves will drown our homes in blood. Even if death finds me, I will never regret the stand I made.
