Players must abide by the Where Winds Meet General Tournament Rules. See the "General Tournament Rules" section on the official Where Winds Meet Tournament Center website. The "Tempest" uses a balanced mode. Attributes for Wanderers and Bosses (excluding Boss HP) match the "Trial" Abyss difficulty. Martial Arts, Inner Ways, and Mystic Skills can be freely configured before the challenge. After the challenge starts, you can switch Martial Arts and Divinecraft during the preparation phase. In the Qualifiers, players must challenge 3 designated Bosses in order ("Puppeteer - Overture", "General Nameless", "Yi Dao"). Each Boss has 3 challenge attempts. You can only unlock the next Boss after completing the challenge for the current one. The shortest time among the 3 attempts is recorded as the best result; the Martial Arts combination used for this best result will be locked and cannot be reused in subsequent Boss challenges. The total score is the sum of the best times for all three Bosses. Players can train via the "Trial" mode. In the Elimination Stage, players must consecutively challenge three fixed Bosses (Elimination Bosses: "Puppeteer - Overture", "General Nameless", "Yi Dao"). HP and medicine counts are inherited throughout the single run and do not reset. Completely different Martial Arts must be used for different Bosses (restriction applies only within a single run). Martial Arts and Divinecraft can be switched via Training and Bag during each Boss's preparation phase. Combat starts automatically after preparation. There are 3 challenge attempts, with the shortest total time taken as the final score. The Finals follow the same rules as the Elimination Stage. The final Boss will be announced on the day of the Finals.
