Rainbowback once had an owner, a farmer who lived near Verdant Wilds.
The farmer would often stroke Rainbowback's richly patterned fur and say:
"If not for those heroes in the Northern Vow, we wouldn't even be alive."
As he spoke, he'd light incense for the fallen warriors.
Later, a group of bandits took over the ruined city nearby. The farmer no longer dared light incense, and Rainbowback was left behind.
Now, Rainbowback has no owner.
