This blade had three owners: an elder brother gave it to his younger brother, the brother gave it to his nephew. The nephew then buried it here. The ring on the blade clinks, longing for home. Each time it was given, it carried the hope that the one departing would return. But those who left never came back. Yet many more will now return to the Tang.
