Moonlight still falls as it did years ago, but the chisel's song is gone. The crowds—whole or broken—have vanished. Only Jiu'er remains: a sleek shadow with eyes like polished jade. No one knows why Jiu'er stays, or remembers it. Those who once cared are like shattered jade, quietly sinking into time's river. The workshop is empty and cold, yet Jiu'er remains. At least one cat still carries the memory of that broken jade shard beneath the waves—the shimmering pool reflecting the years they shared.
