Whisky used to be called Whisker, because she once lost half its whiskers. Some say it happened in a heroic battle against the Heavenfall cats. It was a fearsome clash, full of glory! But only Whisker knew the truth: that missing half was scorched off by incense when she snuck into a shrine to steal offerings. Then the shrine's incense runs out and her whiskers grow back. But that means she loses the unique trait! A new name is needed. A better name... People on the Levee are singing old songs as they ponder. "The Whisky Levee breaches. What can we do?" "Meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow..." "Fish churn in a frenzy as winter's chill approaches." "Meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow..." Whenever the Ballad of Huzi rises, the cat will join in chorus. "See, it responded. Let's call it Whisky!" "Meow..." Whisky agreed at once. Now, its name will no longer bear the weight of a charred past and no one will remember the other half of the whisker burned by the incense. They only remembered the songs sung by the cat and people on the Whisky Levee.
