How have you been? Thanks to your blessings, I've joined the military and become a proper courier now! I set off from Kaifeng and am currently passing through the Sixteen Lanes post station. After some thought, I decided to write you a letter!
Revisiting old places always brings me joy! Last time I was here, it was during the Lantern Festival, and now it's almost March! Sadly, the seasonal glutinous rice balls are no longer available. The Shopkeeper said they'll soon be selling Qingtuan (green rice cakes). Next time, I must definitely try them!

Every time I heard news about you, I’d tell people, “That Great Hero you’re talking about is my friend!” Some believed me, while others said I was making it up. When the chance arises, I’ll treat you to a meal at the best restaurant—just to prove them wrong!
