Cited in The Classic of Mountains and Seas: "On Mount Suzhu, the waters of Shishui emerge. It is home to the yongyong fish, known for their sound and form. They resemble plowing oxen in shape, and their calls are like the grunts of pigs." The yongyong fish is likely referring to the bighead carp we know today.
