To my disciple: Let my bones be interred in Liangzhou, to share the eternal frost with the myriad righteous spirits gathered there. The mortal veil is torn, and my worldly obsessions have vanished. As I lie dying, I leave for our clan two vows, sworn in iron and blood. The First Vow: The sect of Raging Tides will cut all ties with the throne. From this day on, our eagles answer no summons, and our dragons seek no grace! The Second Vow: Our disciples shall not pass from this world leaving fortunes, false glory, or even their bones to trouble the living. Their gourds shall be full of rice, oil, and wine, to ensure no soul goes hungry or cold on the journey beyond. Should you encounter one who wears the "Gourd of Remembrance," show him honor. That man possesses a hero's heart and our Raging Tides spirit. If he is willing to drink with you, welcome him into our fold. Farewell, and be well.
