On the twentieth day of the third month, in the 16th year of the Dali reign, Yang Sanniang, for want of funds, has borrowed the sum of 1,000 wen from the Apothecarium. Repayment shall be made in installments of 200 wen per month for six months, principal and interest included. Should the debtor abscond, the guarantor shall be responsible for repayment in her stead. Payments are due before each full moon. In case of default, the owed amount shall be doubled.
